Q: How can I help?
There is a lot of time and effort that goes into organizing and supporting a 3-on-3 benefit basketball tournament. The tournament committee is always in need of volunteers that are willing and able to lend their time and talents to support the tournament planning, organizing, and implementing efforts. If you are interested in become part of a great team of volunteers email [email protected] or comment on the Maricopa March Madness Facebook Page.

Q: Where can I find the tournament brackets?
The tournament brackets will be posted after March 23rd, when team registration ends, and before the morning of March 26.

Q: What if it rains on the day of the tournament?
In the very unlikely event that rain prevents the tournament from being played the weekend of March 26, 2016 the tournament will be postponed to April 2, 2016. However, it will have to be raining really hard (with lightning) to stop play.

Q: Why did you choose to split the funds between the local American Legion post and Military Assistance Mission?
The first tournament was started by Nate Ford in 2014 as his Eagle Scout project. Nate chose the Military Assistance Mission as the benefactor out of respect and appreciation for the men and women serving our Country in the Armed Forces. MAM provides financial assistance to qualifying service members in emergency situations like food, rent, utilities, school supplies, and education opportunities.

Nate also played baseball in a summer league sponsored by the American Legion and wanted to give back as his way of showing appreciation to those that allowed him and many other young players fulfill their dreams of playing baseball at a collegiate and professional level.
